Update on Aromatherapy Course

Posted on October 31st, 2008 by admin

As many of you know I am working on upgrading the aromatherapy course “Foundations in Aromatherapy Level I”. I am  hoping to have that up and running for Saturday Nov. 1, 2009 so keep tuned in :)

I am almost finished the touches on a great program that will allow you to learn the Latin Binomials very easily. There are 79 common Essential Oils in this particular aromatherapy program. Many students were complaing about how hard it is to learn their Latin Binomials.

I realize that it’s a pain sometimes to try and remember which one is which, but this new program will help you immensely. I have included music therapy and color therapy into the mix to help you learn even more easily.

The aromatherapy course itself has changed big time. Much, Much easier to read and even has bookmarks now so you can jump easily to any page you want to get to.  The Section on Physical and Emotional problems has also been revised so that you can see clearly now which essential oils should be used for the particular symptoms. A Real Handy Aromatherapy Desk reference. You’ll really appreciate this if you are considering taking the Second aromatherapy course, Foundations in Aromatherapy Course Level II, because you will be referring back to that section more than you can imagine.

So that’s all the news for now. Wish me luck as I try and make the deadline for November 1, 2008

All the best

Aromatherapy Course Level II in Progress: What Would You Like?

Posted on October 14th, 2008 by admin

As many of you know, I am presently working on the second level of the Aromatherapy Course so that many of you can become a Certified Aromatherapist. While adding all of the necessary information I am wondering what YOU would like to learn that I may be able to add for you. So I am coming right out and asking you:

What do you want in a Level II Aromatherapy Course?

There are so many questions that are being asked about Aromatherapy over the Internet especially places such as Yahoo Answers. Obviously everyone needs to know the basics such as How to use Essential Oils and how to use aromatherapy safely and effectively, but perhaps there is something that you have always wanted to know about aromatherapy that I could share with you in the Aromatherapy Course. So, here is your chance. Please leave your comments because I am hoping to wind up the aromatherapy course very soon. For those of you who know me well know that I am always trying to give my friends the best, so please use this opportunity to give some suggestions for the aromatherapy course and I will see what I can do. I hope to hear from you soon. Sharron

UPDATE: The Aromathearpy Course Level II is now finished and available to purchase online.

You can still feel free to ask your questions and who knows maybe I will make an ebook on Aromatherapy Questions: Asked and Answered :)

Aromatherapy Courses:Who is Behind Serene Aromatherapy?

Posted on October 6th, 2008 by admin

Sharron Myers Certified Aromatherapist

First the obvious: I am a teacher and have written Foundations in Aromatherapy Level I ,an aromatherapy course which far exceeds the standards set up for a Level I Course, and I am presently working on the Level II  Aromatherapy Course. I have also written ebooks on Aromatherapy. Also published the Book “Ailments & Alternatives in Aromatherapy” a handy desk reference for aromatherapy. Some people spell this aroma-therapy. Just a brief bio on who I am. My name is Sharron Myers and I am a Certified Aromatherapist. I am the owner of Serene Aromatherapy and also do consulting. I have studied Essential Oils and Aromatherapy since 1991, although I was always interested in Alternative Healing. I have my diploma in Floristry and Flower Arranging also, this is probably why I love flowers and their essences so much. I was also published in the American Massage Therapist Association Magazine in their Winter 2000 Issue. I was asked by them to write an article especially for massage therapist so I wrote a large 2 page article entitled “Adding Power to Your Petrisage”.  This was a special edition about Tools of the Trade for massage therapists. I’ll get a scan of it and put it up on the net one of these days. I love to sing and play music, piano, keyboard, organ and accordion. I was the worship leader at our local church for many years and also a guest soloist and speaker at many local venues here in Chateauguay, Quebec. We live on the South Shore of Montreal. So, that makes me Canadian eh? So I suppose that is enough about me. Thanks for stopping by.
